Mabon Women’s Workshop — Recap

On Saturday, September 25, I hosted my very first Mabon Women’s Workshop—and the energy was beautiful from the moment we began. Sunshine, a cool breeze, and a circle of women ready to connect. Everyone brought a piece of their own journey, and we had rich conversations about how these practices are often missing in Western culture—and how meaningful it is to find like-minded community here.
We opened by cleansing the space, then moved into vision boards to attune with the season of Mabon—affirmations, paint, gems, and charms flowing across the tables. We crafted spell jars with personal intentions to take home. During lunch, tarot made an appearance; everyone pulled a card for guidance, and one participant offered readings with her own deck.

After lunch we created ritual candles for at-home practice. Then came choose-your-own magic: a bath soak, a journey stick, or a gratitude banner. It was wonderful to watch each creation take shape.

We closed the afternoon on the grass with a crystal chakra sound bath. Even the chickens settled in quietly, and 2 hawks circled above as we rested. Finally, we held a gentle release ceremony—writing what no longer serves us and letting it go, carrying gratitude forward.
It was an incredible day. I’m so grateful to the women who trusted me and showed up for this first workshop. I have many ideas for the upcoming Sabbats, and I’m excited to make each gathering even better. Wish you could’ve been at our Mabon Workshop? Good news—more cozy magic is coming. Join us for Samhain on Nov 2 and Yule on Dec 20. Gentle ritual, nature crafts, and community.
Blessed be,
Desi
