Registration opens for day camp sessions April 25th at 10am!
Welcome to Whimsical Forest Day Camp. Our programs are specially designed for children ages 5-10 (5 year old's who have completed a year of kindergarten). We encourage independence, so children should be able to dress themselves and use the restroom on own. Join us for a fun-filled adventure in nature where your child can explore, learn, make lasting friendships!
Our day camp programs run in four day sessions Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm
Survival Skills Camp

Are you ready to survive the forest? During Survival Camp, we will immerse campers in the art of bushcraft skills. Throughout the week, campers will learn essential skills such as knot tying, shelter building, and fire building (weather permitting). Our program also includes activities like making fire starters and creating a comfortable camp using natural elements. With a focus on Leave No Trace principles, campers will develop a deep respect for the environment while honing their wilderness survival skills. Join us for a week of adventure and discovery in The Whimsical Forest! For this camp, children must be over the age of 7 to participate. I had to make a change, so this camp will run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday of the week of June 2nd-6th.
Strawberry Moon & Stars

Join us at The Whimsical Forest day camp June 9-12 for a magical experience under the Strawberry Moon! Learn about the significance of the Strawberry Moon, explore the moon phases, and discover the stars and constellations of the season. On June 11th, we will celebrate the full moon with exciting activities centered around all things lunar. Embrace the enchantment of the night sky with us during this camp session!
Animals of the Northland

We are thrilled to present Animals of the Northland, where campers can discover and explore 10 fascinating animals native to the region. From soaring birds to graceful swimmers, from cunning predators to gentle prey, our camp offers engaging lessons, exciting activities, and hands-on experiences to deepen your understanding of these majestic creatures. Join us for a wild adventure that will ignite your curiosity and appreciation for the wildlife that calls the Northland home!
Homesteading

We invite children to explore and learn about homesteading skills in a fun and interactive way. Our food comes from the land around us, teaching children the importance of sustainability and self-sufficiency. Whether you live in town or in the country, join us to discover simple ways to incorporate homesteading into your life. From caring for chickens and rabbits to hands on experience in the garden, to exploring the wonders of nature, children will gain valuable skills and knowledge at The Whimsical Forest. Art In Nature

The Whimsical Forest encourages creativity and exploration through nature-based arts and crafts. Beauty is all around us - let's discover it together! From painting with mud to dying fabrics with fruit, our campers will engage in hands-on activities that spark imagination. Using natural materials like sticks, pine needles, and pinecones we turn the forest into our canvas and create masterpieces. Join us for a magical experience where nature inspires creativity like never before.
